Philippe Mora - Artist
Mora has had numerous one-man shows of his paintings in Melbourne, Sydney, London and Los Angeles. His work was in the group exhibition Narrative Painting in Britain in the 20th Century, Camden Arts Centre, 1970. He illustrated for OZ magazine in London and his work is in the Beatles Illustrated Lyrics. He created the seminal Magic Theater OZ issue with Martin Sharp. His work is represented in the Museum of Modern Art of Australia, Victoria and in the Australian National Gallery, Canberra. Mora started Cinema Papers magazine in Melbourne, 1967. It was published for 30 years. He has written for publications including Art Monthly Australia, and currently writes for the Sydney Morning Herald on the film industry and current affairs.
